This album literally put Mintaka on the map, and by that I mean that anyone who makes a map has to mark where the members were when they made the map. It sold an OUTSTANDING number of copies, in fact, you probably own at least 10. Upon hearing the album, Larry King got diarrhea so bad that he had to buy 15 pairs of D-Pants. In addition, Pewick, Meyers, and Peabody were knighted by Queen Elizabeth II.

Hal Pewick, Raincoat Meyers, Heath Peabody and Jack Adamsmoved into The Neat Factory on December 1, 2005 after setting fire to their houses. On an average day, they would spend up to 23 hours writing and recording new material, and the rest of the time scratching things. While several songs that had been written between 1996 and 2005 were used in the sessions, many of the songs were written right in the studio. All together, Mintaka wrote over 350 pieces of music for the album. The first piece written in full for the album was "Kenny", which Pewick had composed just before being signed to Jethro Shit. Raincoat Meyers was particularly fond of this song, calling it a definitive masterpiece and stove.
